Christmas holidays, part 1

Lots of family came to visit around Christmas. I especially enjoyed practicing my Dutch with tante Hilda, oom Bruno, and oom Roel, and I think I even picked up some French.

Tante Hilda read me some great Dutch books,

and oom Bruno explained the rules of tennis to me.

I immediately ran off to add it to my sports repertoire.

For now, though, my favourite sport is pole vaulting. Here I am vaulting over a bar in the living room, with a little bit of assistance.

 I also very much enjoy running around with my polsstok, practicing my run-up to the bar.
