Speelgoedmuseum Deventer

Today we went to Deventer, where oma was born. We drove by the house where she lived back then, and we went to the toy museum, which was wonderful.

There were lots of interesting exhibits, including dolls, doll houses, and fun games with mirrors.

In the attic there were lots of toys we could play with ourselves.

There were also some dress-up clothes, including capes. I found a pretty red cape, and pappa asked me to pose regally in front of a version of Breughel's famous painting of children's games.

I found a big blue cape but it was a bit constraining for my taste!

There was also a puppet theater. Here I'm playing one of the puppets. Got milk?
