Once we arrived at Monterosso, we got to spend some time at the beach. It was very exciting to be standing in the water as the waves came in!
I did not enjoy going into the deep water so much, even though daddy was holding me safely.

Cinque Terre
On Saturday, we went to the Cinque Terre, on the Mediterranean coast near Genova. First we walked from Vernazza to Monterosso. I thought it was a fairly easy walk, but some other people complained that they found it hard. The views were worth it in any case.
Once we arrived at Monterosso, we got to spend some time at the beach. It was very exciting to be standing in the water as the waves came in!
