(July 1) Galatina

On the way to the beach today, we first stopped in a small town called Galatina. It had a church that did not look unusual from the outside...

... but had frescoes everywhere inside. It was almost overwhelming!

There were even frescoes of Adam and Eve in the garden, high up near the ceiling. I think I still like the ones I have on magnets (from the Cappella Brancacci in Florence) better, but these were pretty good.
